Ground magnetics is an effective tool for locating geological structure rapidly and accurately from the surface. We have forged the plight of making this practice an industry standard in both mineral and, more recently, coal mining, prior to any drilling.

Deep Ground Penetrating Radar

Developed with state-of-the-art technology, the Ultramag Deep Ground Penetrating Radar (DGPR) is a breakthrough geophysical technique offering images of unparalleled resolution; up to 200m of the surface in ideal conditions and, routinely, 150m.

For 15 years, Ultramag have undertaken gravity surveys, offering industry best practice high resolution microgravity.

Ground Deployed Spectrometry

Our Gamma Ray Spectrometry (GRS) is used in aircraft, ground vehicles and in boreholes to map the abundance of radioactive isotopes of thorium, potassium and uranium.

the Ultramag PicoEnvirotec spectrometer service offer rapide acquisition and is quad, hand-carried or helicopter mounted. It is a non-destructive, rapid and inexpensive tool limited to the top 1m.
